Bass Sinnathamby founded his own development company, Urban Village Property Developments Ltd in Canada in 2002. He is based in Calgary, Alberta where he has been active in business development for Urban Village. Bass has over 10 years experience in the single-family and multi-unit building industry with expertise in multiple facets of residential and commercial construction including coordination of trades, contract negotiation, project estimation, document preparation, building codes and regulations, material purchasing, and site management through to certification of occupancy. Bass will contribute his personal experience in international business to enable UV Seagull to become an innovative and global leader in construction.

Vakeesan Navaratnasingam, ACMA, AMIE
Director of Operation

Navaratnasingam has been involved in the construction industry for over fifteen years, and began full-time with Seagull in 1992. While studying Engineering and Accounting followed by two years of Accounting practice after graduation, his career has otherwise been spent in various management positions at Seagull, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in field operations, business development and corporate affairs in preparation for his current responsibilities as Director and Chief Executive Officer. He has been a long-time associate with Urban Village experience in the real-estate market. He has developed and constructed over 36 multiunit projects in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He will bring his Seagull’s staff of over 500 skilled labourers and execute the construction internationally under UV Seagull Developments Ltd.
