Sinchao Metals Corp. is focused on the exploration and development of the Sinchao property, located in Cajamarca province in Northern Peru, 30 kilometers from Yanacocha, the largest gold mine in South America. The company is dedicated to creating value for its shareholders by pursuing growth, expansion and enhancement of the Sinchao property.

The XIII Latin American Congress of Geology, which took place in Lima, Peru on October 1, 2008 has named the Sinchao Project as one of the 3 significant large-scale properties recently discovered in Latin America. Members of the evaluation committee were geologists Hernan Tanabe, Georg Winkelmann and Edgar Alayo as well as the organization committee president, Jose Arce. The other 2 projects were Minera El Bronce's Diego de Almagro Project in Atacama, Chile and AngloGold Ashanti's Colosa Project in Tolima, Colombia.
